The Global Food Safety Standard of the British Retail Consortium (British Retail Consortium) was developed in the United Kingdom in 1998 to specify the safety, quality and performance criteria that a food manufacturing plant must meet to achieve legal compliance and protect consumers.

BRC was the first standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) - an organization founded in 2000 to harmonize food safety standards by adapting them to the guidelines set by retailers and food producers. Today it is an internationally recognized food safety management system.

The audit, which was carried out in November 2021 year, concerned the review of procedures and standards according to the latest version of the standard, i.e. v. 8 introduced in 2018. We are pleased to inform you that we have just received the original certificate formally confirming respect for the system standards.

The production plant in Święciechowa received the the highest possible rating "AA"

The direct benefits of having certificates are confirmation of high quality security standards, increasing the trust of consumers, contractors and controlling units, as well as opening the way to cooperation with the most reputable recipients, including international commercial networks. The next audit will take place this autumn.
